Three Cup Chicken is one of my favorite dishes to make because it’s simple and delicious. The flavors unfold from spicy to savory to sweet, without ever feeling too salty. As the juices cook down, the addition of basil creates a perfect balance of flavors.

8. Check if the chicken is fully cooked. If not, simmer for another 5 minutes. Cooking time may vary slightly depending on whether the chicken has bones.9. Add basil and stir for 3 minutes over medium-low heat. Done! Yum~~
